Fuzzy Lime

Started working on Christmas presents this week ~ during the “free time” I have in between thread and bobbin changes while working on embroideries for these 2 wholesale orders (which are due by Oct 6th ). I’ve been knitting up a very simple garter stitch scarf with fringe for a friend. It looks pretty cool — a strand of plain ol’ lime green Red Heart acrylic with a strand of lime green Fun Fur. It’s very soft and I think Steph will love it. It’s about 50-55″ long… a perfect length, I think.

Also bought yarn for a raglan sweater for Lakin, knitted in the round. I almost bought 100% wool yarn but then I reminded myself ~ this is for Lakin, she is 3, this will NEED to be machine washable. I ended up settling for Plymouth Encore Chunky yarn (25% wool, 75% acrylic) in a gorgeous royal blue shade that will look great with her eyes. That’s my “in the car while on vacation” project.

And speaking of cars – no, ours was not finished today. Big surprise. It will supposedly be done tomorrow… I sure hope so cause the girls & I are starting to get a little cabin fever.
