Magical Brethren

I met Kelly last night! You know, of The Fangirls podcast! Squee!

She was in a nearby town for business so I drove out to meet her for dinner. She was staying in a hotel that, believe it or not, had the best Muggle rendition of the Fountain of Magical Brethren (see: The Atrium) that I’ve yet seen. Seriously… we were both lamenting that we didn’t have a camera so we could blog it.

We walked to a fabulous little bistro and had the most delicious food. I had a steak and Kelly had an apricot crusted flounder dish — both of which smelled heavenly and tasted just as good. Excellent conversation, excellent waitress, and excellent beer (in girly glasses I might add).

We walked back to her hotel and spent a couple hours laughing, talking, giggling and comparing Snape fantasies. I finally hit the road around 10:30, picked up the (sleeping) girls from Drew’s, put them in bed and headed to bed myself.

All in all, a wonderful time!
