Mind the Gap

I’ve been blogging for a long time… July 1st will be the 10th anniversary of the first blog post I published. I’ve blogged by building my own little basic webpage and updating the entire month’s file as I added new entries each day. I’ve blogged with WordPress installed on my own server. I blogged with Typepad for a long time, and with Blogger for the last few years. I’m happy with Blogger for now. I might move again at some point, but for now, I like it here.

I realized this week that there are huge gaps in this blog’s archives, weeks and months and years of no posting. I was posting, you see, just not here. I have digital copies of the archives from my various blogs, and I have decided to copy them all here, to this blog, so that my writing is all in one place.

I love looking back at my own life and memories. I love that my children will have an archived history of their childhoods. I love that it gives you, my readers, a more complete history of who I am.

I say all that… but my point was mainly that if you are subscribed to my RSS feed, you might see a lot of old posts pop up over the next few days. I wanted to give you a heads up, if you will.

Feel free to poke around, read, and comment… I love your comments!

I like to write about appreciating all of the beautiful little things that surround us, particularly in the face of grief, infant loss and mental health issues. Every day is an adventure!
