Writing Posts In My Head – Stream of Consciousness Sunday

Every week I participate in “Stream of Consciousness Sunday”, hosted by Fadra of AllThingsFadra.com. The idea is to type for 5 minutes, a brain dump of sorts, and then to publish without editing the writing at all.

I have been sick this week, since about Tuesday. It started as a little cough and a bit of sneezing, then turned into the monster known as Bronchitis. This is my second bout with bronchitis in 6 months and I am more than a little tired of the rib-cracking coughing and breathing-through-a-straw that I have endured this week.

I feel like I’ve abandoned my poor blog… and right when I was getting up to a good speed and rhythm too. It’s just still painful to sit at my desk for very long. I’m feeling better today than I have any other day this week, so I know I’m getting there. The antibiotics are working, but slowly.

This 5 minute blurb may be it for a few days, but I am thinking of you, dear blog. I am writing posts in my head and I am eager to be back at full capacity. Until then though, I will retire to my warm soft bed, my morning dose of cough syrup and my husband’s arms.

    Feel better soon!!
