Origami Owl Living Lockets

Origami Owl Living Lockets LogoHave you seen Origami Owl Living Lockets? They’re all the rage these days, and I’m proud to say that I am the new owner of one of these gorgeous lockets.

Origami Owl was founded in 2010 by a 14 year old girl named Bella. The company’s mission statement is very sweet: “To be a force for good; To love, inspire and motivate women of all ages to reach their dreams and empower them to make a difference in the lives of others”.

I have been working with my good friend Leilani to select the perfect necklace, and I have to say, it was a very difficult decision. Luckily, the Origami Owl website is organized to help the decision-impaired. They have an entire section where you can view and select from the many beautiful lockets, plates, charms, dangles and chains. I’ve never seen a locket that isn’t lovely, and it’s fascinating to see which lockets different people choose.

I settled on a beautiful silver locket with an “always” plate, a “family” dangle, and three tiny heart birthstones for my daughters — two for July and one for December. The necklace I chose is 32″ long and it is so wonderfully sparkly. I really love it and have been wearing it every day since it showed up in my mail box, wrapped up like a birthday present.
