Old School Blogging – Alphabet Meme

Old School Blogging
Today I’m linking up with Elaine (Miss Elaine-ous) for some old school blogging. This month’s topic is the alphabet! Join in (please!) and link up so we can all read and laugh and smile at your answers!

Alphabet Meme

A. Attached or Single? Attached to my darling David!

B. Best Friend? David

Old School Blogging - Heather/David

C. Cake or pie? At a recent family get-together, when faced with a choice of either chocolate cake or pumpkin pie, I chose the pie. The older I’ve gotten, the less I like cake… unless it is cheese cake, which is really more like pie anyway, in my opinion.

D. Day of choice? Saturdays… no work, no school!

E. Essential Item? Laptop!

F. Favorite color? Chocolate brown and navy blue.

G. Gummy bears or worms? Gummy worms. I eat them in segments.

H. Hometown? Falls Church, Virginia

I. Favorite Indulgence? Sleeping late, curled up with my honey.

J. January or July? January… July is too hot, too full of mixed emotions.

K. Kids? 3 daughters… 2 {living} wonderful, smart, amazing tween girls… and one stillborn baby girl

Old School Blogging - Girls

L. Life isn’t complete without? Family, laughter, kisses, big hugs from my big girls, sweet tea…

M. Marriage date? 10/10/10 – marriage date; 08/09/09 – when we started dating; 10/10/93 – the day we met.

N. Number of brothers/sisters? 2 brothers/ 1 sisters / 2 step-brothers / 3 step-sisters

O. Oranges or Apples? Apples… Fuji apples.

P. Phobias? Clusters of little holes together… lotus seed pods and even lots of PVC pipes stacked together freak me out. Apparently this is called trypophobia.

Q. Quotes? I post my favorite quotes every day on the blog’s Facebook page, so you can read them all there. Today’s quote: “Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.” – Helen Keller

R. Reasons to smile? My girls, my husband, my nieces, my nephews, my family.

Old School Blogging - Cousins

S. Season of choice? Spring… flowers blooming, warm breezes, and very little humidity!

T. Tag 5 People. Skipping the tagging… if you read this and want to join in, please do!

U. Unknown fact about me? When I was younger, I planned to major in Secondary Music Education, and minor in French Language and Literature. I wanted to be a middle school music teacher.

V. Vegetable? Broccoli.

W. Worst habit? Nail biting

X. Xray or Ultrasound? Hmm, I prefer when I don’t need either.

Y. Your favorite food? Chicken enchilada casserole… or beef stroganoff. Yum!

Z. Zodiac sign? Scorpio.
